Micah Burton Owings is a three-time Collegiate All American while at GA Tech and Tulane, Six-year MLB Pitcher/PH (Diamondbacks, Reds, Padres), 2007 National League Silver Slugger. He graduated from Gainesville (GA) High School in 2002 after leading his team to two state championships...also attended Forsyth Central High School in Cumming, Ga., transferring after his sophomore year...played collegiately at Georgia Tech University and then Tulane, transferring for his junior season...named ACC Rookie of the Year in 2003 and Conference USA Player of the Year in 2005...pitched and played first base for the Team USA club that won a silver medal in the 2003 Pan Am Games.
